I choose this topic because; Teaching young children to read helps them develop their language skills. It also helps them learn to listen.Reading is important because it develops the mind.
Do you think reading is still an important skill these days, as so much is now available in videos and in other media. Does the Internet now mean that we have to learn to read differently than in the past?
I like reading but I agree with our teacher as so much is now available in videos and in other media. These days children prefer to listen or watch videos on the internet. I think this is more beneficial for children because they can improve not only their language skills but also listening skills. Morever, They can develop their abilty to see.
