Reflection on the LESSON WRITER reading task

  At the first I did not know how to create lesson for my colleagues and It worried me so much I never heard of Lesson writer until our instructor mentioned and asked us to join and we made account.

  From lesson writer I learnt how to create a lesson and make it fun with using pictures. How to be careful about the context and you can either start from vocabulary or you can improve your pronunciation with repeating.

  I still have problem with Lesson writer but Im sure I can manage it. As it says creating a lesson is challenging...

If I were to create a lesson again; I would give my full attention on it and this is only beginning I would say ...

Reflection on writing the research paper

  Having a research paper taught me how to argue better on a paper with the help of argument it became much better. Getting different perspectives helped me to broaden my mind.
  My searching skills also improved through out this search. I mainly focused how to quote and how to make citation.
  Before writing the main paper, I only had an idea about what I was going to be writing and I did not have conclusive argument. At the stage of searching I was able to develop my topic. I may not get good point out of my research paper but it will show up to me what I learnt...
  My course forced me to do more research and made me focused on searching part because in order to gain knowledge we need to search and it helped me to apply the thing I was researching. With this way I was able to understand more about the topic for which I was chosen.

Reflection on Blogging

Questions;

1) What did I learn from the blogging tasks? How has this experience contributed to my own understanding of myself, my peers and the course content?

2) What exactly did I get out of this? Have I questioned or changed my thinking as a result of this activity?

3) How does this relate to my own learning in the context the EFL126 course?

4) Have I been able to draw connections from past experiences, other METU NCC courses, or personal goals?

5) What could I do next time to make this experience better?

Answers;

      At first it was difficult for me to follow all the sites that our instructor mentioned but now I can manage how to follow the web sites. I understand that we need to have a bit of knowledge of everything in order to make a comment. We need a confidence and we can share everything through internet as we are in 21st century and personally I’m planning to work on blogging like right now.

   In order to broaden our view we need to share and I've learned a lot about myself as well as taking this course that how it relates to my own learning in the context the EFL126 course. I / We need to be open minded and blogging bring so many things on me like, I need to search firstly and to get the attention to my post I need to put some pictures or videos and make it interesting.

   To give more attention to this course would be fine to make this experience better.

To summarize by computer, or to summarize by human

As technology develops its self day by day there are several blogs which helps us to read a long text by shorten it. However, we need to be aware that may cause a laziness. I know most of us use such sites for some EFL courses. As a result, I support the use of certain social media and blogging web pages.
